Beyond the physical benefits, a big part of the allure of Nordic Walking is where you can take it. Too many of us spend all day and night inside four walls and really should be spending our exercise time outdoors, enjoying our beautiful environment. Stephen and Li will be attending this year's Sports Physicians Conference on the Gold Coast, so to make the most of this day and the great weather, we are organising a group walk along the beach on Saturday the 11th of February. This is a free event and we welcome anyone to come along. After the walk, we will find a place to unwind and grab some breakfast before starting the rest of the day.

Meeting Point: Esplanade (on the corner of Ocean Ave), Surfers Paradise

Wear: Clothes and shoes suitable for walking on the beach, a hat and sunscreen.

Cost: Free Event

Parking: 3hr commercial parking is available along the Esplanade
